When I tell someone, they are usually quite surprised. I was (thankfully )raised by very wise parents who stressed the importance of knowing the person from the inside, and not judge by their appearance. Still, being human, we all still have our issues to work on. I probably fail more than I succeed, but that's OK. At least I'm trying to change for the better. A case in point - tattoos. I'm of the age where the only people who got tattoos were military guys and now it's everyone, even women older than me! For a while I was appalled, until I met someone I admire and respect who later revealed her tattoo. It really made me sit back and think about the judgements I was making. I hope I remember this lesson about other things as well. blessings, marleneStitchinByTheLakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501479854150315011noreply@blogger.com
